COMPLETE REVIEW

AXVoice is a renowned VoIP service provider in US and Canada. It offers a comprehensive set of features suited for both personal and business needs. It is very useful for entrepreneurs, people who work from home, small businesses and corporations alike.

AXVoice has a Residential service, a Business service and also offers International Plans.

Home users who just want to switch from their old traditional landline to digital, web-based technology, can choose one of the Residential plans.

Residential

The Residential service comes with 3 plans: Pay As You Go, US/Canada 200 and USA/Canada Unlimited.

Pay as You Go: As the name suggests it, the Pay as You Go plan allows you to pay only for the minutes you call and at a much lower rate of only 1.5c/minute. That rate applies to calls made in US and Canada. It is the most affordable plan in the Residential category and it is suited for family use and other personal needs.

The setup process is very straightforward. You just need a reliable internet connection and a free Ethernet port on your modem or router to connect the adapter included with AXVoice.

The only fee you have to pay is the shipping cost.

The US/Canada 200: it includes 200 minutes in US and Canada and unlimited incoming minutes.

USA/Canada Unlimited: It is the most expensive plan and includes unlimited outgoing minutes and unlimited call forwarding.

All plans allow you to keep your number or choose a new one and come with free equipment.

Main outbound call features included with AXVoice

  • 3-way calling
  • Caller ID blocking/International call blocking/Alternate caller ID
  • Music on hold
  • Conference calling
  • E911 Support (enhanced 911) that allows you to dial 911 on your AXVoice phone
  • Low-bandwidth codecs for when you have a low bandwidth on your Internet
  • Blacklist

Main incoming call features included with AXVoice

  • Failover: in case your Internet drops, your calls can be redirected to another number
  • Simultaneous Ring (it gives you the possibility to ring up to 3 numbers at the same time)
  • Enhanced voicemail and others
  • Caller ID
  • Call Filter
  • Call forwarding
  • Blacklist
  • Distinctive Ring, which allows you to set different ringtone in case you have more than one AXVoice number
  • Do not disturb
  • Anonymous call rejection

AXVoice also offers a mobile app, which is a nice additional feature. The mobile app works with any calling plan and you can download it for free. It is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

In addition to the Residential service, AXVoice also offers two Business plans.

Business

The Business plans are Home Office (SOHO) Plan and the Small Business Plan.

Home Office (SOHO) Plan: It uses the virtual PBX system and includes 200 outgoing minutes in US and Canada, free in-network calling and free equipment. It is easy adaptable/scalable as your business grows.

Small Business Plan: This plan offers 1500 minutes in US and Canada, online account management and more than 25 additional features.

AXVoice offers a comprehensive set of features and it has plans tailored for all needs. The overall quality is good, although you might experience dropped calls every now and then.

Another thing we didn’t really appreciate about AXVoice was the customer support. While they do offer 24/7 live chat support and you can also contact them via e-mail, response times are not great and there is no phone number displayed on their website, so that you can call them.
