ResponseNow is a medical alert service company headquartered in Portland, with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. All their monitoring centers are US based and available 24/7.

ResponseNow has 3 products to choose from, depending on your needs: their in-home system, which works either with your phone line or their cellular network and their Belle mobile systems. You can opt for Belle, which uses the AT&T network to connect to their monitoring centers or Belle+, which also uses AT&T, but includes GPS tracking and has built-in fall detection.

Design and features

Belle and Belle+ are almost similar in design. They are designed to be worn as necklaces with a lanyard, but you can also wear them in your pocket. They are black, quite bulky, they have the ‘Help’ button in the middle (in Braille lettering), a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way communication and below there are the indicators. For Belle you have indicators for the battery and for Call. It will light up blue when you press the button.

The Belle+ also has those indicators and two more, for the signal and GPS.

The Belle+ has all the features included with the Belle device but it also offers GPS tracking and has incorporated fall detection sensors.

Both Belle and Belle+ are showerproof and while they are a bit big, they are light and comfortable to wear around your neck. They are functional anywhere in US where there’s AT&T cellular coverage.

Both Belle and Belle+ come with a charging cradle that you have to plug in and then you place the devices (Belle or Belle+) in them to charge them. It will take 3 hours for the device to fully charge. Belle has an impressive battery life of 30 days, while Belle+, which is more complex and also has GPS tracking, lasts up to 5 days on a single charge.
