COMPLETE REVIEW

Titan World LLC, which owns both the Osaki and Titan brands, is a massage chair distributor based in Carrollton, Texas. The company boasts on prices that are ‘well below national retail price’.

The TI-7700 model is relatively new and it features an S-track design.

Here are the main specs for the TI-7700:

  • Dimensions (W X H X L): 28.8 X 47.3 X 47.3 inches
  • Net weight: 181 lbs.
  • Power consumption: 150W
  • 6 massage techniques
  • 5 presets
  • Hip and seat vibration
  • Zero gravity mode

The TI-7700 has an attractive design and it comes in several available colors: black, cream, chocolate, so you can match it with any décor.

While it is not lightweight, at approximately 181 lbs., the TI-7700, it is also not as heavy as other massage chairs (take for instance the Luraco iRobotics 7, which has more than 300 pounds), which is good news for when you have to install it. The chair comes in 4 pieces and it is really easy to assemble (if you don’t opt for the White Glove Delivery).

The remote control included is quite big, it has an LCD screen and it is user-friendly.

Features

As we’ve already mentioned it, the TI-7700 has an S-Track roller system, which only follows the curve of your spine. L-tracks on the other hand extend the massage all the way to your hamstrings. Given the price of this chair, we would have liked to see it equipped with L-tracks instead.

The TI-7700 has a Zero Gravity mode with 2 stages and 5 preset massage programs: comfort, stretch, healthcare, relax, full air. There are also 5 intensity settings you can choose from for each of them.

In terms of massage techniques used, the TI-7700 can deliver 6 massage types: shiatsu, kneading, tapping, kneading and tapping, palm and punching.

The TI-7700 has 28 airbags, placed in key areas, which have adjustable pressure. Eight of the airbags are on the armrests, delivering a deep massage to your forearms and wrists. The sensation is that of two hands squeezing your arms. There are also airbags that provide massage to your outer shoulders and on the foot and calf areas (16 airbags).

The TI-7700 also offers heat therapy and has 2 built-in heaters that act on the lower back.

And another useful function is the vibration massage, delivered through a vibration plate located in the seat. Vibration massage helps you loosen up the joints and tissue and it is really helpful for people who suffer from stiffness caused by arthritis.

All in all, the Titan TI-7700 is a good mid-range massage chair. It is a bit on the heavy side and it is not as complex as high-end massage chairs, but it does have all the basic functions you want, it has an attractive design and it is easy to assemble and use.

Pricing

On the Titan website, the TI-7700 goes for $1,700. The product comes with a free standard 1-year warranty (parts and labor).
