COMPLETE REVIEW

The iRobotics 7 is designed by Luraco, an American company based in Texas. They manufacture more than just massage chairs: medical and salon drills, spa jets & drain pumps, military & industrial equipment.

The iRobotics 7 is not for every wallet. It is a high-end product and among the most expensive massage chairs you can find, with a price close to $9,000, just like one of its main competitors, the Inada DreamWave.

Here are the main specs of the iRobotics 7:

  • Upright dimensions (L X W X H): 60 x 38 x 47 inches
  • Reclined dimensions: 81 x 38 x 47 inches
  • Weight: 335 lbs.
  • Recommended weight: 300 lbs.
  • Leather and synthetic leather upholstery
  • Zero gravity
  • 9 presets
  • 3D rollers; S-Track roller track
  • Body scan technology
  • Massage techniques: 7
  • 100 airbags
  • MP3 player
  • Tablet remote control
  • Timer

At $9,000, the iRobotics 7 is a truly good looking and complex massage chair. It comes in 3 available colors: black, brown and cream and when ordering it, you can also opt for the White Glove delivery. Even though it was released in 2015, it is still one of the most advanced massage chairs you can buy.

The chair is fully assembled in the US and it fits people up to 6’7” and 300 lbs. The design is very elegant and has a more traditional look. The upholstery is synthetic leather and real lather (on the arms, feet, neck, calves, thighs) and has a memory foam back pad. The iRobotics 7 comes in two boxes (one for the body and one for the arm rests) and if you don’t opt for the white glove delivery, it is pretty easy to assemble.

It has an S-Track frame with rollers that follow the curve of your spine.

The chair comes with a tablet which acts as a remote control and has a user-friendly interface and among others, it also allows you to manually adjust the position of the rollers according to your needs.

There are built-in speakers and you can listen to any music you want to, using an SD card that you slide into the remote control (tablet). While they are not the best speakers out there, they get the job done. One complaint about the iRobotics 7 is that it doesn’t have a Bluetooth, which makes it kind of inconvenient to load and play music, because you have to go through several steps. For this exorbitant price, Luraco should have also included this feature.

Additionally, you can also opt for the blood pressure and heart rate monitor, which will cost you an extra $150.

Features

The iRobotics 7 uses a 3D body scan technology to scan your entire body before you start the massage session, in order to make necessary adjustments to the rollers. That might feel like a lengthy process, as it takes around 2 minutes to complete, but it is totally worth it.

The 3D massage technology is very impressive and it allows the chair to deliver a deep tissue massage, when you use the chair on a high intensity setting.

The iRobotics 7 allows you to adjust the angle of the seat according to your preferences and it has the common zero gravity feature that lets you recline the chair all the way to horizontal.

The iRobotics 7 combines 7 massage techniques: Shiatsu, Swedish, kneading, tapping, combo, rolling and stretching.

It uses 100 airbags for air massage to your arms, hands, shoulders, calf, thighs and feet and also has a heat function for your lumbar, calf, foot and seat.

There are 9 auto programs to choose from and you can also use it in the manual mode, turning on and off certain areas. You can see on the tablet which areas are on, because they are colored in green. You can also create your own customized user profiles, 5 to be more exact.

And because it is a high end massage chair, Luraco placed importance on all the details that make your massage experience as relaxing as possible. The iRobotics 7 is quieter than average massage chairs, which allows you to fully relax during your massage session.

The timer on the iRobotics 7 allows you to choose between massage sessions from 5 to maximum 30 minutes. It is not recommended to use it for more than half an hour/session.

The iRobotics 7 from Luraco is among the most luxurious massage chairs ever to be released. While average people could never afford to spoil themselves with such an extravagant and overpriced device, if money are no object, the iRobotics 7 is one of the most advanced massage chairs you can find and it pretty much has all the features you can wish for and more.

Pricing

The Luraco iRobotics 7 is one of the priciest massage chairs you can find. You can get it for approximately $8,990. If you also want the blood pressure and heart rate monitor, you have to pay an additional $150.
