Although it is a relatively new company, The Credit Pros is one of the most expensive ones in this field. It does offer more financial services than most of its competitors, 90 days money-back guarantee and it works with certified FICO professionals, but its fees are nevertheless unjustified. Moreover, the length of their program is above the standard.

The Credit Pros describes itself as being a financial technology firm. The company started its business in 2009 and its founder, Jason Kaplan, is an attorney and credit law expert who specializes in the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and is a certified credit counselor and FICO consultant.

The Credit Pros has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and works with FICO experts. Inc. Magazine ranked it among America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies, more than once.

The Credit Pros engage in keeping your private information secure and you can cancel on them at any time.

Just like with any other service, you are entitled to a free consultation. Once you sign up with them, they ensure unlimited disputes and unlimited access to your client portal.

Although you are not going to be assigned to an individual financial expert who will guide you through the entire process, you will get a one-on-one consultation with a certified FICO professional and you will also have access to a team of specialists, whenever you feel you have any questions. You also have 24/7 access to your online client portal where you can see all the updates and check the progress of your case, as well as educational videos and articles.

One thing we liked was the appearance of the website. It looks very clean, organized and has a more professional look than most we’ve seen for this type of business.

In addition to credit repair services, The Credit Pros offer many other financial services: credit management, deletion of the errors on your public records, credit building, ID theft restoration.

Once you sign up they will immediately start working on your reports. The length of the program is between 6 to 12 months and you will receive an updated copy of your credit reports within approximately 2 months from sign-up, which is a bit longer than the average, but the duration will also vary from customer to customer.

The company claims it can get just about anything removed: late payments, collections, repossessions, foreclosures and others.

The Credit Pros have a useful blog with plenty of educational articles on various topics: how to have a collection account deleted, how the dispute process works, when does a late payment start to affect your credit and many others.

This company is one of the most expensive ones we reviewed so far. They charge $179/person and $279/couple for the first payment.

After that, you have to pay $75 for public records and $50 per confirmed deletion.

They accept Visa and MasterCard.

These fees are quite high in our opinion, especially given the fact that The Credit Pros is a relatively new company, it doesn’t even have as many years of experience in this field, as other competitors.

The Credit Pros have a good customer service. You can contact them by phone, email or live chat. There is also a comprehensive knowledgebase on their website, including a helpful FAQ section.

In our experience, the reps were helpful and receptive. The only negative thing we experienced was the annoying and excessive advertising from the staff. Once they start communicating with you, they will try to convince you to sign up with them.
