Ovation is a BBB accredited credit repair firm with an A+ rating. The company is based in Florida but they provide online and phone services in the entire US. Today it is one of the top 10 credit repair companies in the country.
Although it was founded in 1976, it started its credit repair services only in 2004.
Ovation doesn’t require a contract, so you can cancel anytime. It also offers 100% guarantee, claiming that if they fail to deliver a promised service in the agreed period of time, they will offer a full refund.
The company also offers discounts for couples, seniors over 65 and military members. Couples get a 20% off both of their plans (Essentials and Essentials Plus) and senior and military personnel a 10% discount. They also give a $30 bonus to recommend them to a friend and a $50 one to tell about them to a couple.
You can also opt for the Fast Track add-on, for a one-time fee of $25, which allows you to receive same day sign up and set up and expedite dispute letters. There’s also the Identity optimization add-on, for the same amount of money, which analyzes all the personal identity data on your report and searches for potential errors that can be contested.
Ovation can remove from your credit report issues such as bankruptcies, judgments, late payments, credit inquiries, charge offs and others, as long as they are false or fraudulent. The firm claims to have an average of 19 improvements per customer. These improvements may mean having negative items removed, can include a falloff or a better status on one of your accounts. All these factors translate to higher credit scores for you.
How does it work
You have to first sign up with them and if you don’t have your credit report, they will assist you in getting it. Once you have it, you upload it and after that, you will log into your Dispute Manager. After they analyze what items you should contest, the company will send the credit dispute letters to the three bureaus.
Ovation can dispute up to 9 negative items at a time and you can usually see the first results within 30 to 45 days. Their clients usually work with them for 6 to 8 months.
They don’t offer identity theft insurance or to pay for delete negotiations, but they do include monthly credit monitoring in their programs.
Compared to other credit repair companies, they have fewer educational resources on credit repair. They do have a blog in that sense, but it’s not constantly updated.

The first one starts from $59/month and offers a professional credit analyst, a personal case advisor, financial management tools and unlimited bureau disputes. The Essentials Plus program has a $89 monthly fee and also includes unlimited validation and goodwill letters, a recommendation letter signed by their Director Attorney and 24/7 TransUnion credit monitoring.
Both programs also require an initial payment of $89.
