T-fal FZ7002 ActiFry cooks just enough food for four servings, and it does so with just a tablespoon of oil. It’s very easy to handle, and most of its parts are dishwasher safe. It’s priced just under $150 so it’s affordable for most families looking for a fast, reliable air fryer to put on their counter.

T-Fal advertises its ActiFry air fryer as needing one tablespoon of oil for a full frying basket. With a minimum amount of oil, this low-fat fryer will make sure your family’s next meal is healthy as well as delicious. ActiFry has many cool features, it’s easy to use and most parts are dishwasher safe.
Ease of use
Frying comes very easy with this appliance. Since most traditional fryers need to be shaker or “mixed” during cooking they require you constant attention until they’re finished. T-fal ActiFry is a very independent air fryer since once you put in the needed ingredients you can go about your day until you hear the alert that the cooking is finished. Of course, thanks to the see-through viewing window and the steam-free lid you can check on your food at any time and make sure it’s right where you want it to be. This air fryer comes with a recipe book detailing how to cook up to 38 different dishes with chicken, fish, lamb, vegetables and more. Also included in the package is a measuring cup that makes getting just right amount of an ingredient very easy.
Cleaning this appliance is also hassle-free. Since the lid, bowl and paddle are all dishwasher safe, all you need to do is gently wipe off the inside of the cooking bowl and you’re done. Of course, in order to start cleaning you need to unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down completely to avoid injury.
The T-fal FZ7002 ActiFry low-fat fryer is one of the best appliances for making delicious, healthy food for your family. With a cooking bowl large enough to hold 2.2 pounds of food, you can rest assured no one in your party of four will leave hungry. This air fryer is very easy to operate since it has so few controls, and it’s very easy to clean. It’s steam-free lid keeps unpleasant smells out of your kitchen, and the looking window gives you a clear view of the cooking process from the top of the fryer.
Although not available directly from T-Fal’s website, the manufacturer recommends five official resellers you can buy the appliance online from. For the purpose of our review, we looked at Amazon.com that had the ActiFry for $149.65, while Walmart had a similar price tag of $149.99. The most expensive was Bed Bath & Beyond which had this air fryer for $199.99.
T-fal ActiFry comes with a one-year limited warranty with additional extended plans available with Amazon or other resellers.
This product features a unique design and uses similar advanced air circulation technology as some other air fryers we reviewed. Once you place up to 2.2 pounds of food into the frying basket, you’re advised to pour just one tablespoon of oil over it, close the lid and let the machine do its thing. While it might not have the largest capacity in our review, this air fryer can make enough food for a household of four.
T-fal FZ7002 ActiFry comes packing 1,450 watts, enough to cook your food just right. And while there are many air fryers on the market that are much stronger than this one, almost 1,500 watts is well above average and more than enough to cook food thoroughly. Since it’s somewhat weaker than some other models, this appliance will be more power-efficient and it actually works faster than some more powerful options we looked at.
When it comes to heat, this appliance cooks food on respectable 338-degrees Fahrenheit which is also somewhat less than some other fryers that let you set the temperatures to up to 400 degrees. The ActiFry also doesn’t offer the option of adjusting the temperature once you put your food in which can be a deal breaker for some buyers. Nevertheless, this air fryer lets you set up a cooking timer for up to 99 minutes. And even though most air fryers out there are heavy and bulky, this particular multi-cooker weighs just under 11 pounds, making it one of the lighter air fryers in our review. And although the general weight of the appliance shouldn’t be a big factor in your decision making, there are people who prefer lighter appliances since they are easier to move or put away when not in use.
