COMPLETE REVIEW

The Belmint Shiatsu foot massager is designed by Belmint, an American company based in New York. Belmint designs and manufactures healthcare products, kitchenware, bath items and more.

The Belmint Shiatsu foot massager with switchable heat is a good-rated foot massager which comes at a decent price. It isn’t the least expensive on the market, but it won’t break the bank either.

Here are its main specifications:

  • Dimensions: 17.7 x 18.1 x 15 inches
  • Weight: 11.8 lbs.
  • Fits up to size 12
  • 15 minutes auto shut-off feature
  • 5 pressure settings
  • Switchable heat function

The Belmint Shiatsu foot massager comes in silver and doesn’t have the most original design. It looks quite similar to the Miko shiatsu foot massager, though we can’t tell if that’s a coincidence or who was inspired by who. The Belmint isn’t the lightest foot massager out there either, weighing almost 12 pounds, but it is light enough to carry around without throwing out your back. It has a futuristic design and looks solidly built.

The massager comes with a removable and washable cloth cover. It has 5 soft-touch buttons on the top: on/off, kneading, pressure + and – and heat. There is no remote control included in the package.

The Belmint foot massager uses air pressure to massage your feet. There are five pressure levels to choose from and you can adjust the pressure from the buttons on the control panel. Both slots have deep-kneading rotating Shiatsu nodes (42 in total) and there is a Heat function which can be switched on or off, depending on your preferences. The machine also has an automatic shut off feature in case of overheating, to protect the device.

Just like almost all the other air pressure based foot massager we’ve tested, this one can also feel a bit rough on your feet on the higher pressure settings, so you might want to take it slow in the beginning, until you can see what the machine can do and you get used to the pressure levels.

Belmint claims the Shiatsu foot massager can accommodate people with feet sizes up to men 12, which is good enough, but not impressive. You can use the massager barefoot or with socks. Either way, you’d be pleased to find out that the massager is easy to clean and its cloth covers are removable and washable.

The Belmint foot massager is a comfortable and affordable solution to relaxing your feet, ease muscle tension and improve blood circulation and the added heat feature is another useful perk.

Unlike other foot massagers, the Belmint Shiatsu is relatively quiet, so you can even take it with you to your work place if you’d like.

Now on the flaws of the machine, the only shortcoming really worth being mentioned is the fact that the Belmint massager doesn’t really massage your heels, not even the back half of your feet. That is because there is only one rolling node placed in that area, from the total of 42. So while your front half gets to be pampered and massaged, your heels won’t really enjoy the same experience.

The massager works in sessions of 15 minutes. After fifteen minutes, the machine will automatically turn off. If you don’t feel you’ve got enough relaxation, you can always turn it on again and start another session.

We were overall pleased with the performance of the Belmint Shiatsu foot massager. Aside from the heel massage issue, this is a good product that’s definitely worthy of your consideration.
