They have received mixed reviews over time, being praised for the affordable prices and criticized for reasons like servers' unreliability and downtime and their questionable money back guarantee policy. Overall though, it is seen as a cheap, user friendly web hosting provider, perfect for beginners, but not only.
The company was originally named Super Green Hosting and it started as one of the WPBeginner's original partners. WPBeginner is the largest WordPress resource site and it offers tutorials and other easy to grasp materials that help beginners learn the basics of WordPress.
JustHost offers shared hosting, VPS hosting, Cloud hosting and dedicated server hosting. Their shared hosting package has four plans: Basic, Plus, Prime and Pro, which is an upgraded and pricier version of the Prime package.
The Basic plan starts from $4,03/month and includes: one website, 50GB storage, unmetered bandwidth, one domain and up to 25 subdomains, 5 email accounts and 100 MB of email storage/account.
The Plus plan is the most popular one and can be purchased for $4,6/month. The plan includes 10 websites, 150Gb of website space, one domain and up to 50 sub domains, 100 email accounts with 500MB of email storage/account.
The Prime plan costs $7,11/month and comes with unlimited websites, one included domain and unlimited sub domains, unmetered website space, unlimited email accounts and email storage and backup protection, via SiteBackup Pro.
The Pro plan can be purchased for $14,26/month and includes all the benefits and services of the Prime plan, but on a higher performance server, plus dedicated IP, SSL Certificate and Domain Privacy.
JustHost has a lot of appealing and useful features. Among their list of 'freebies' we can mention the $200 worth of credits: $100 worth of free Google Adwords credits, $50 of Facebook credits and $50 of Bing credits.
You also get free access to their entire script library, user-friendly site builders and a free domain. JustHost comes with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, PHP 5, Python, Perl 5 and Ruby.

Although affordable and user-friendly, JustHost doesn't really top the charts when it comes to performance and reliability. Many customers complain about the frequent server downtimes. The company claims it uses 10GB ethernet connections and solid Linux-powered servers, but test results don't exactly endorse their assertions. The uptime seems to be a major drawback for this provider, with only a 99,5% uptime, which is not that impressive, considering that the standard is 99,9%.

When it comes to customer support, JustHost offer 24/7 US based service through live chat, email or telephone. They also have a solid FAQ section on their website and a lot of tutorials that help you set up your site in no time.
When it comes to their live chat support, some customers complain that this service is a bit slow and needs improvement, but the general opinion is a positive one. The staff is friendly and helpful and the average holding time is under 30 seconds. The live chat has a countdown clock and when a customer rep responds you will hear a subtle sound.
