PROS:
CONS:
Fortune3 has been on the market for 15 years. More than 200,000 online stores use this ecommerce platform. The software includes both basic and advanced features that help you build and manage your online business.
This ecommerce solution has 6 plans to choose from: Starter, Basic, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Infinity. They all function based on a monthly subscription and each comes with its own set of features and possibilities.
You can also try Fortune3 for free with their free 30 day trial. In order to benefit from this trial, you just have to give them your name and your email. No credit card details are required.
If you do become their customer, you will have to use 2 dashboards. One is the store builder and the other one is the admin panel that lets you manage the store you created. It might take some time to get used to these dashboards and the fact that you have to work with both of them may seem annoying to some users.
Other than that, the interface has a lot of useful tools (over 1,000 features) and it is fully customizable. However, you have to know how to use the CSS editor if you want to obtain the best results. If you are not so good with your HTML and CSS, you can also use their WYSIWYG editor, or you can choose from their free or paid templates, they have around 20 free ones and they are mobile responsive.
In terms of integrations, although it doesn’t offer as many as some competitors, you’ll still have enough at your disposal: Amazon, eBay, Shopzilla, Nextag, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and others.
Regarding payments, Fortune3 integrates with more than 50 payment gateways: PayPal, Authorize.Net, eWay, 2Checkout, Beanstream, VirtualMerchant and others. You do have to know though, that in order to use any of them, you have to pay a one-time setup fee of $69,95.
Fortune3 is compatible with Windows, Mac and also has a mobile version that works on Android, iOS and Windows Mobile devices.
This platform includes a lot of useful features: track inventory, recurring billing, digital selling, B2B selling, coupons and gift certificates, real-time shipping rates, abandoned carts, automated emails, product options (color, size, etc.) and so on.
There are also plenty of helpful marketing and SEO tools: you can add custom titles, meta tags, etc.
Another notable thing is the fact that Fortune3 offers unlimited storage and bandwidth with all their plans, even the cheapest one.
Fortune3 is PCI compliant and provides a free 256 bit SSL certificate on its subdomain to every website. There are also firewalls, non-stop monitoring and data backups included.
Starter is the lowest-priced tier and it starts from $ 9,95/month. The plan includes: 20 products, no setup fee, unlimited emails, bandwidth, admin accounts and storage, no transaction fee and limited support.
The Basic plan starts from $24,95/month and includes 50 products, all the features from the Starter and unlimited support.
The Silver plan starts from $39,95 and includes up to 250 products.
The Gold plan costs $69,95/month and includes up to 1,000 products.
The Diamond costs $99,95/month and includes up to 10,000 products. It also has a $50 setup fee.
The highest-priced tier is Infinity, which is $159,95/month. For this price you get unlimited products and all the benefits from the other packages. This plan also has a $50 setup fee.
In terms of customer support, Fortune3 can be reached through multiple ways. You can contact them by live chat, phone or email. They also include manuals, training videos and a FAQ section on their website.
