The Eufy RoboVac 11s is a great robot vacuum for its price. It is not the smartest robot on the market and you’ll appreciate it more for its cleaning abilities, versatility and ease of use, than for its smart features, as it doesn’t come with an app. But it is affordable, extremely user-friendly, powerful and silent.
Eufy is a brand launched by Anker Innovations, a Chinese company founded in 2011. Eufy is renowned for its flagship product, the RoboVac 11 (robot vacuum cleaner).
The RoboVac 11s is an upgrade to the aforementioned product, only with a slimmer design (hence the ‘s’ in its name). The Eufy RoboVac 11s is an affordable option for basically any wallet, without compromising too much in terms of cleaning quality.
The 11s is a good looking robot vacuum. It is only 2.85 inches thin, thus slimmer than its predecessor (which was 3.0 inches tall), and it looks sleek and modern. It is also a bit smaller than the RoboVac 11, measuring 12.8” instead of 13”. It has a single button on top, which is both a power button and a LED indicator. There are three types of colors you can see displayed: blue, when the robot is fully charged, orange, when the vacuum is charging and red, in case of any error.

The design of the 11s helps the robot to be more versatile than its predecessor. And despite its smaller and slimmer design, the vacuum is more powerful, has a larger dustbin and it is quieter than the RoboVac 11. While the RoboVac 11 came with a 0.55L dust collector, the 11s has a capacity of 0.6L. The RoboVac has a maximum suction power of 1000Pa, while our 11s has 1300Pa. The only model to beat it in terms of power is the RoboVac 30, with a suction power of 1500Pa.
The Eufy RoboVac 11s comes with a remote control, which is not the most advanced one out there. It has a monochrome display and it lets you choose and see the cleaning mode, see the time and the scheduled cleanings. We have to admit that we don’t find the programmability of the 11s all that great. You don’t get too many options and you can’t customize it as with other smarter robots. You can only set one time for your scheduled cleanings. For instance, it’s not possible to schedule the robot to clean at a certain time on one day of the week and at a different time on another day.
There is also no available app for the 11s, which for some people might be a deal breaker. That means no smart features, so you can’t start the robot remotely, for instance. Everything is controlled through the remote control of the 11s: the cleaning modes, cleaning schedules. Home mapping is missing too. On the other hand, this robot vacuum is extremely easy to set up and use.
While the RoboVac 11s is not the smartest robot out there, it compensates by being a pretty impressive vacuum cleaner. The 11s has 2 spin brushes and a rolling one, drop sensors and a nose wheel on its bottom. Unlike a lot of competitors, the 11s is not just good at cleaning your hard floors. This little wonder will also perform admirably on shaggy carpets as well as other types of surfaces. Its slim design means it can fit under basically any furniture, while its large wheels make it easy for it to transition from one type of surface to another, from hardwood to thick carpets and to jump over certain obstacles. It picks up every piece of dirt in its path, as long as it fits and although it wanders around without knowing where it’s been and what room it should focus on the most, if given enough time, it will do a great job. Its 4 cleaning modes are Auto, Spot, Edge and Single Room.
Another interesting feature of the 11s is its BoostIQ, which automatically increases the suction power when necessary (especially on tricky carpets).
The battery life of the 11s is also good. It can go up to 1 hour and 40 minutes on a single charge. However, it takes close to 6 hours to fully charge.
The 11s is also quieter than its predecessor, with a noise level of only 55dB, which means it is really silent, barely noticeable.
As a conclusion, the Eufy RoboVac 11s is very affordable, has great cleaning abilities, it is easy to use and versatile in terms of types of surfaces it can clean. It does lack a lot of smart features, including an app, but if you are more concerned with its cleaning capacities rather than its intelligence and you want a simple, efficient and budget-friendly robot vacuum, the 11s is definitely a great option to consider.
