The Jelly Bean 2 slice from Oster is among the cutest toasters on the market. It is small yet solid and it is one of the best choices for people on a budget. It has a Frozen, Bagel and Warm function and removable crumb tray.
The Oster Jelly Bean is a very cute, shiny, affordable and popular 2-slice toaster. It comes in two available colors (purple and gray), it is small yet sturdy.

The Jelly Bean toaster is one of the best-selling toasters on the market, because it is extremely inexpensive while still including all the features found in top-end toasters. It has a metallic finish and plastic controls and it is a perfect option for people on a budget.
This Oster model has a 2-slice capacity and the extra-wide slots can fit almost any type of bread. It is a small appliance which is perfect for kitchens that have a limited space. However, even though it is small, the Oster Jelly Bean is quite heavy.
The crumb tray is removable from the back of the toaster, which is not the most ideal design, but it is not a deal breaker.
In spite of its price and appearance, the Oster Jelly Bean is really sturdy and long-lasting.
The Oster Jelly Bean has a dial with 7 shade settings, a Cancel button, Bagel, Frozen and Warm functions and a Toast button. All the buttons are illuminated by LEDs and everything is as straightforward as possible. There is also an anti-jam auto shut-off feature that ensures the toaster stops in case you don’t remove the slices immediately after they are done. This way there’s no risk of overheating or malfunctioning in any way.
The Frozen feature worked impressively during our tests and the Jelly Bean performed even 3 times better than some competitors in a much higher price range. We also liked the Warm function on it. The Bagel feature on the other hand is not exactly one of the strengths of the Jelly Bean. While the bagels were still edible, the Jelly Bean couldn’t avoid toasting them on the backside too.
The overall performance though was more than decent, especially given the price of the appliance, although our items didn’t turn out evenly toasted each and every time. But the Jelly Bean is definitely a great value for the money and its cute, colorful design brightens any kitchen.
