They could invest more into their website and display more useful information for their potential clients (their industry accreditations, terms of service, the list of states in which they operate and so on).
Premier Debt Help is a debt relief company based in Freehold, New Jersey. It can help you settle various types of debts, from unsecured personal loans to credit card, medical bills and business debts.
Premier Debt Help lacks industry accreditations (such as AFCC). However, it has years of experience in this business and it offers 100% money back guarantee for its services. The company claims that in case you don’t see the promised results, you don’t have to pay them anything.
Their debt consolidation program lasts from 12 to 42 months, depending from case to case and they claim they can help you save up to 50% on your monthly debt repayments.
If you want to sign up for their debt consolidation program, you have to fill in the form on their website (full name, e-mail, phone number, number of debt and the amount you owe) or contact them via phone for a free consultation. Once you to talk to one of their specialist, they will assess your situation and come with a plan for consolidating your credit card debt.
The strategy is the same as with most competitors. You have to put money into an account, for paying your creditors. Also, even though it’s usually not the case, you might still get contacted by your creditors while you are enrolled in the program.
Premier Debt Help follows pretty much the same steps as other companies in the industry. They do charge a lower fee than the industry average and they don’t charge any upfront fees (although that’s the normal way to go, if you follow FTC rules, but a lot of companies don’t comply to those rules).
What we didn’t like about them though is the fact that they don’t seem to mention anything about their industry accreditations, which usually offers more credibility to customers. They also didn’t invest too much time and resources in their website, which doesn’t look too professional. It is poorly designed, empty and kind of useless. A lot of the important information any client would like to find is nowhere to be found (for example, the number of states in which they operate, terms of service, etc).
On the other hand, we were impressed with the way their reps treated us. Your case is assigned to a specialist who will work very closely with you, will get involved and be your guide throughout the entire process. You won’t be passed around from one rep to another, as it is the case with some companies.
Premier Debt Help charges you 20% of your enrolled debt. You have to have at least $5,000 in unsecured debt in order to be eligible for their programs. The 20% fee is lower than the industry average and it is only charged after you see some results, as imposed by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).
