Reimage Repair is a computer repair software created by Reimage Limited, a software company based in Tel Aviv (Israel). The company initially launched Reimage only for Windows devices, but subsequently they also created a version for macOS and one for Android mobile devices.

Reimage is complex diagnostic tool that also has anti-malware capabilities, which is ironic, as many people mistake Reimage itself for malware. Reimage doesn’t enjoy the best reputation in the industry, mainly because the software is heavily advertised, which makes users skeptical about its intentions. In fact, there are a lot of articles and video tutorials on the internet on how to uninstall/remove Reimage from your device.

However, not only isn’t Reimage a malware or any other type of other threat for your computer, but the software actually helps you remove viruses and different types of malware from your device.

System requirements

As we’ve already mentioned it above, Reimage is compatible with Windows computers and macOS as well (aside from the Android mobile app).

Reimage works on computers running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Pro (32-bit and 64-bit).

The program requires a processor of at least 1 GHz (single core or multi-core), a hard -drive of at least 40 GB (with at least 15 GB free space) and 512 MB system memory.

On Mac computers, Reimage works on OS X Mavericks and above (OS X Yosemite and above is required for full AV capability).

What is the price of Reimage?

Reimage can be downloaded for free, but it will only let you scan your computer for issues. If you want to start restoring your computer, you have to purchase a license.

Reimage offers licenses that are available for one year and you can opt for 1 license or 3 licenses.

1 license for unlimited use for 1 year is priced at $14.95.

3 licenses for unlimited use for 1 year will cost you $29.95.

These prices are this low because Reimage offers constant discounts. Before the generous discount, the prices were $69.95 for 1 license and $99.95 for 3 licenses.

Reimage offers a generous 60-day money back guarantee, so you can get a full refund in case you are not pleased with the results.

What are the benefits of Reimage?

Reimage is a complex repairing and optimizing tool that assesses both your computer hardware and software. It also looks for any signs of virus, spyware and other type of malware and removes them from your system.

The first action taken by Reimage is a full scan and assessment of your computer. Reimage analyzes the hardware (speed of the hard drive, heat levels, system memory) and it looks for any type of threat such as viruses, rootkits, trojans, adware and so on. Other software issues are also detected. We are referring to those software issues that cause all those crashes, freezes and BSODs (blue screen of deaths).

Once Reimage finds all the issues that need to be fixed, it starts repairing them and restoring your operating system. The software optimizes your Windows registry, removes any viruses, spyware and so on and fixes all the stability issues your computer might have.

There is also an OS recovery feature included that replaces any system files that can cause critical software issues.

Reimage offers 24/7 tech support, in case you have any questions related to the software and the way it works.

Update for 2023

While we have continued to check in on Reimage and its licensing options we have noted that there have been some increases and some decreases in pricing. We have seen times when they have started to offer specific discounts, and especially if you purchase additional licenses or longer durations. As with most things they have gone up a bit in price but they have also upped their level of customer support. One of the most interesting aspects that we have seen that has been added is the manual repair option that they present on their site.

So, if there is some issue within the scope of their program they can often times create a specific fix just for your system. There are not many other companies that offer this, as well as their continued 60 day refund period so we still give them a thumbs up regarding the product. We don't often hear of companies offering the manual fix option, so for us ( and our readers ) we can't really fault them in this aspect.
