Restoro is a competitive product that’s managed to stand out through its complexity, affordable price and user-friendliness. There are a lot of system optimizers out there, but it’s hard to find a software that checks all the boxes the way Restoro does.

This software is a powerful resuscitating tool for any Windows-based computer and it is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Windows 10.

Restoro is new on the market, having been launched only in 2018, but the team that created it is very experienced in the IT field. The Restoro R&D team consists of highly skilled programmers that know exactly what the demand is on the system repair software market and they know just how to fulfill it.

How to use the Restoro software

Restoro is available for download at no charge so the first step you have to do is go on their website and download it. You can find Restoro on many other places on the internet but you should download it from the official website to make sure you don’t also download malware and infect your system.

Restoro lets you install and test the product for free, in the sense that you can run a full system scan and see what issues your PC is dealing with. The scan takes about 5 minutes to complete. This form of free trial is also eloquent enough for you to learn the interface and check out the features the program has to offer.

Restoro first analyzes your PC and displays all the problems it can find. It divides them into 3 categories: hardware issues (such as low memory, low hard disk speed, etc.), stability issues (which programs installed on your PC crash the most often, at what frequency and more) and security issues (it detects any type of threat in your system, such as viruses, spyware, root kits, dishonest adware and so on).

The fixing section of the program includes several tools such as: clear faulty files, install fresh files, repair damage, stability check, security check.

In order for Restoro to be able to fix any issues in your computer, it has to use the files in its large database of more than 25 million Microsoft files. These are clean, authentic, pristine files and Restoro uses them to replace all the corrupt, missing or infected ones in your system.

As for the security issues, the malware is identified with the use of their virus engines. Restoro uses 2 such engines: one from Avira Antivirus, which is a Restoro partner and their own, custom-made virus engine, developed by the R&D team.

What issues does Restoro fix?

The most common problems you can fix with Restoro are:

  • Computer crashes and freezes
  • Damaged DLLs
  • BSODs (blue screens of death)
  • Other Windows errors
  • Virus damage
  • Compromised system settings

There are however some issues that can’t be fixed by Restoro or any other system optimizer for that matter. So don’t rely on this software if you have third-party software problems and errors. Hardware issues can’t be fixed by Restoro either, although the software is useful because it can at least identify the hardware problems in your PC and it notifies you about them.

How much does Restoro cost?

If you want to be able to do more than just run a scan with Restoro, you have to activate the product by entering a license key.

License keys can be purchased for 1 year and there are 2 options available: to buy a 1 license for one year ($41.95) or to buy 3 licenses for one year ($58.95). There is a third option as well, which is to buy a license for just a one-time repair. Its price is $27.95.
