An online background check service can be a reliable source of information and can save you a lot of research time. It can help you find out valuable information about people, whether they are someone you’re trying to reconnect with, a colleague, neighbour, potential date and so on.
Online background check services call themselves public records search services, because most of them can only be used for informative purposes, as they are not FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) accredited. TruthFinder works by collecting data from various public records (court records, commercial ones, financial records, criminal records, arrest records, social media profiles and so on) and displaying them to you in an organized report. All you have to do is perform a search by name, city, state and wait for the service to do its thing and generate the report. A search with TruthFinder takes only a few minutes before the report is complete.
In order to see the results, you have to sign up for one of TruthFinder’s plans. The service offers standard and premium reports.
Standard reports
This report includes the basic information about the searched person: aliases, contact details, potential relatives, criminal records, educational and employment background, social media profiles, location history (current and past addresses), potential neighbors and more.
Premium reports
However, if you want to know more about that person, you can access the premium report which gives you additional information such as: assets, business affiliations, bankruptcies, drug tests, weapon permits, professional licenses, liens and more.
What is the price of TruthFinder?
TruthFinder works based on subscriptions and there are two subscriptions to choose from: a one-month subscription and a 3-month subscription.
Both subscriptions allow you to run as many searches as you want for that period of time (either one month or three). However, these subscriptions only give you access to the standard report. If you want to access the premium report, you have to pay an additional fee.
The 1-month subscription will cost you $27.78 per month.
The 3-month subscription will cost you $26 per month.
The premium report will cost you an additional $17.47.
TruthFinder allows you to search people based on their name or phone number. You can either search for them by typing in their full name, or you can look someone up by just typing in a phone number, with the Reverse Phone Lookup feature.
