Bluetooth speakers have been around for quite a while on the market, but the quality in newer models has been increasingly getting better. From unreliable device connection to muffled audio, the list of everything that is frequently criticized in this technology is quite long.

Audiophiles have long looked for high-quality audio that just manages to play the right kick of bass, for the perfect loudness, and for some, even waterproof features. This causes them to look for the most expensive brands.

Fortunately, the Tribit XSound Go is a player on its own on the market, and for a relatively cheap price.

Features of the speaker

The company prides its brand as one that has “stunning rich bass”, and upon testing, the brand proves capable of living to its promise. Electronic tracks from the likes of Martin Garrix and Zedd, both bass-heavy, were heard through the brand with no problem. No muffled sounds, even at high volumes.

Though not comparable to audiophile trademark brands, the sound quality is enough to be called high quality at the least. At maximum eighty up to eighty-five per cent volume, sound quality is preserved and still crystal clear. So if you’re planning to use it for parties or just a silent walk by yourself, you are guaranteed good quality.

The company prides its dual 6W drivers that prevent distortion.

Another feature of the speaker is its waterproof capability. Certified with IPX7 rating, the speaker can definitely be used for pool and beach parties without worry. This is a feature that is a must now for most Bluetooth speakers to even be competitive on the market. Tribit XSound Go doesn’t disappoint.

The look of the product is convenient to use and fairly pleasing to the eye. In the likes of Beats and JBL speakers, the capsule-like design makes it easier to hold and carry around during use. The company promotes it to be “on the go” meaning you can carry it in your backpack, put it in your purse, or carry it with a string or a strap attached.

It is fairly heavy on its own, but it is only because of the batteries that can last up to 17 hours at moderate playing hours. Its charging time is only 4 hours.

It comes in Black and Blue.

Price

For a low price of $50, Tribit XSound Go, the speaker is one of the cheapest on the market. Its best features (its reliable bass and waterproof capabilities) definitely give it a good place in priority lists.

Cons

The only con for the speaker is its average level of quality. This should be reasonable as it offers great features for only a low price. If you’re looking for next-level, futuristic bass and sound, this speaker is not for you, unfortunately.

Conclusion

The speaker is best for casual listeners and party-music. Its waterproof quality and its reliable audio makes it a great option for those wanting to spend less.
