NutriBullet blade

Introduction

Blenders allow us to crush fruits, seeds, and more to make them easier to drink and to digest. The machine is a must-have for most health enthusiasts and for anyone who wants to create a quick smoothie from a lot of different ingredients that would normally be hard to mix together. These come in containers which can be easily carried anywhere. For this to be possible, the container must be leak-free and comes with high-quality material capable of keeping the coolness of the drink as to make it still fresh wherever you carry it.

While there are many brands for blenders, Nutribullet has always been one of the best brands given the variety of their products and their high-quality of design. The product line started in 2012 and has since continued to improve its unit by creating varying wattage, features, and design. Nutribullet’s design philosophy is centered around minimalism which can be seen with its products. They are also an active promoter of healthy diet and recipes that can be made through their products. The Nutribullet Pro 900 is their high-power entry to their list of health blenders which manages to capture everything that makes this product line remarkable. We do a full, and deep, look at the blender in our Nutribullet Pro 900 review to find out everything that this amazing machine can offer.

Nutribullet Pro 900

Nutribullet Pro 900 is marketed as the higher-power option for their blenders, utilizing 900-watts to be able to crush most of the ingredients. This comes with two 32-ounce cups along with more accessories that increases your option in terms of capacity. Although this is not the most powerful blender by Nutribulletit is a good mid-tier option for those looking for a more affordable option that is capable of crushing most ingredients. It can also crush ice without difficulty which makes it an easy choice for some. The blender can crush seeds, ice, and more.

Design

The unit maintains the classic design of Nutribullet that is compact, slim, and easy to carry around. The material it uses, though plastic, is sturdy enough to carry most ingredients. However, the unit should not be expected to carry hot water to ensure that the plastic will not be damaged. The unit comes in 10 colors with elegant names and shades. Examples include rose gold, champagne, and teal. These colors make it easier to blend with any room. Given that it is marketed to be carried around, the unit is small enough to be carried in a bag.  There are a lot of features in the NutriBullet 900 pro crammed into its beautiful design.

How do you use it?

With Nutribullet, users can simply pour their ingredients into the cup. After this, they need to seal it with the cap which contains the blade. After this, they need to attach the blade to the machine to start its blending. With this unit, users can leave the machine blending without the need to press it for a long while. However, users are advised to leave it only for up to 1 minute to prevent it from overheating. This will depend on the ingredients that you’ve poured as those that are harder to break down can put strain on the blades. Given that it uses 900 watts for its blades, users can expect their drink to be finished within this time frame which removes the need to wait in between intervals.

One of the highlights of the unit is that it can be easily cleaned. All of its components can be put on the dishwasher aside from the main base and the blade. Aside from this, users can simply put soap and water in the unit and blend it for some seconds. This makes it easy to clean leftover bits of seed and sticky substances which you may have used for your drink.

Because the machine is very simply to use, users won’t need to read the manual to get how to use it. However, this limits the intensity options for the machine which may be a loss for those who wants varying levels of intensity for blending their ingredients.

Real life test of NutriBullet

To test the product, we used different ingredients that are usually used for health drinks along with a couple of products that other blenders may have difficulty in blending.

When blended with seeds and a couple of berries, the NutriBullet 900 had no problem in crushing both and extracting the best flavor for them. There were no leftover large bits from the seeds which shows good blending capability.

Next, we tested crushing ice with the blender. Filling it with half of its capacity, we were not disappointed with the smoothie quality we got, as again, there were no large bits that remained. However, the sounds made by the blade as it crushed these sounded like it should not be regularly done to ensure that the machine will always be at peak performance.

Lastly, we used almonds to test if the machine is capable of crushing it into fine powder. In doing this, we had to take intervals in between minutes of blending to ensure that the machine will not overheat. We found that the machine was capable of turning it into almond butter which proves that it crushed the ingredients finely.

What is included in the box?

Aside from the base which corresponds to the color that you picked and the blade, the box also comes with two lids. As mentioned above, it has two 32oz cups which is an ideal size to ensure that the ingredients are finely crushed by the machine. It also comes two cup rings and lip rings.

The machine has a recipe book which is very helpful in creating the perfect drink for newbie users. This is especially in accordance with the constant advertising of Nutribullet of the health benefits of their machines.

The blade of the machine is adjusted to be able to crush ingredients both in the middle and the bottom of the container.  This allows it to crush the smallest of seeds along with medium sized fruits. The brand calls this as a unique design called Nutrient Extraction™ which manages to get the complete nutrition from your ingredients.
