SUMMARY:

The LG WM3770HVA is a smart and elegantly looking front-loading washing machine. It has a very large capacity and it can be used along with the additional LG SideKick pedestal to do even 2 loads at once. It is relatively quiet, smart and it can do a load in only 15 minutes, with its Speed Wash cycle. It is not the most affordable washing machine out there, but it is complex and very efficient.

COMPLETE REVIEW

The LG Turbo Wash WM3770HVA is a smart and large front-loading washing machine with a capacity of 4.5 cu. ft. The washer uses the famous LG 6Motion technology, which maximizes washing performance by using 6 washing motions: scrub, stepping, rolling, filtration, tumble and swing.

Here are the main specifications of the Turbo Wash WM3770HVA:

  • Child lock

The Turbo Wash WM3770HVA is a big washer, so families with big and frequent loads of laundry will benefit most from this washing machine.

The washer comes in graphic steel or white and has a capacity of 4.5 cu. ft. It has a stainless steel drum, which is rust-resistant, an inverter direct drive motor and all the controls are illuminated with a LED light. Every time you select a certain option, program, etc., you see the LED and you also hear a confirmation beep.

The LG WM3770HVA is a stylish washing machine that looks great in any type of household, as long as it fits. It comes with 4 adjustable legs.

The washer is Energy Star Certified and its motor has a 10-year warranty.

This is a pretty smart washer, packed with smart features. You’ve got your washing cycles, 12 in total, several options for temperature, soil levels and more.

In terms of speed the normal cycle will take 30 minutes to complete, while the Speed Wash will complete in only 15 minutes, which is a really impressive time.

People with allergies will benefit from the LG WM3770HVA as well. They can use the Allergiene, which is a special cycle (a steam one) that helps you reduce animal dander and dust mites. The cycle is approved by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

The TubClean cycle is another useful feature that cleans your washer and sterilizes the tub. It should be used regularly, if you want to maintain the washer in top-notch condition.

The LG WM3770HVA is compatible with the LG SideKick, which is LG’s Pedestal washer that can be attached to the WM3770HVA. It has to be purchased separately of course, but it may be a useful addition for people who have a lot of laundry and want to be able to do 2 loads simultaneously. The SideKick has 6 wash cycles.

Another good thing about the LG WM3770HVA is the fact that in spite of its size and power, it is not that noisy, thanks to the LoDecibel Quiet Operation feature included by LG.

Efficiency-wise, this LG washer will cost you around $30/year to use and has a water use of 9.6 gallons, if you use it on the normal washing cycle.

The only thing that might be a bit frustrating about the LG WM3770HVA, at least in the beginning, is the fact that you need some time to figure out the menu. This is a smart and complex washer that comes with all the bells and whistles and you have to tweak it a little to get the best out of it.

Pricing

You can get the LG WM3770HVA for approximately $1150. The SideKick Pedestal costs around $660.
