The Heated Aqua Jet from Brookstone is a top-end foot spa. It is spacious, sturdy and has a professional look. It is quite heavy and not the most affordable on the market, but you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.
Brookstone was founded in 1965 and it is headquartered in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The company is a large retailer of smart living products. They cover a variety of categories, from massage products, to fitness, audio and tech, toys, games, outdoor, furniture and many more.
The Brookstone Heated Aqua-Jet is a very popular foot spa. It is a top-end machine designed to pamper and care for your feet, with the help of water.

The Brookstone Aqua Jet looks like any other foot spa out there. It is quiet large and on the heavy side, especially when it is filled with water, so moving it around is not the easiest job. But it is carefully built and looks very professional and durable. It has a large basin and the company claims this foot spa can fit people with foot sizes up to men’s 14. We haven’t tested it beyond size 12, but we were pleased with the comfort and water level of the foot spa.
There are 3 buttons on the machine: the Power button, a Heat button and the Jets button. There is also a dial from which you adjust the air flow in the jets, increasing it or decreasing it according to your preference.
The Brookstone Aqua Jet is called ‘heated’ for a reason: it heats the water up to 115 degrees, so rest assured you won’t get cold feet in it. Literally! The temperature remains constant until your massage session ends, but you can’t adjust it to different degrees, which is a shame.
The two hydro jets can be manually rotated in the direction you want them to and you can also adjust their intensity from the Jets button (you can choose between high and low). The intensity of the jets is pretty strong especially on the high setting, so a 20 minutes massage session should be enough to relax your feet.
The foot spa comes with two rolling nodes which are removable, so if you don’t like them, you can take them out at any time.
There is also a pumice stone which comes with the foot spa and you can place it in its slot in the middle of the machine.
The Brookstone Aqua Jet is not as loud as other machines, which is more good news.
On the downside though, we didn’t like the fact that you can’t add salts, oils, scrubs and so on into the water, at least according to the manual. That’s a shame, because aside from the physical benefits, these bath ingredients also act as an aroma therapy and the Brookstone foot spa takes that pleasure away from you. Apparently, the jets can clog and you can damage the Aqua Jet. So if you do want to try it, you’re doing it at your own risk.
All in all, we really liked the Brookstone Heated Aqua-Jet, from its design and construction, to its usability and features. It could have had more flexibility in terms of settings, but nevertheless, it is a top-notch foot massager.
