If you need to lookup someone and you don’t want to waste too much time or money on it, you might want to consider using an online background check service. And here is why US Search should definitely be on your list.

US Search is a one of the most popular internet-based background check services in the United States and has seniority in this industry, as it has been around for over 25 years.

The service offers several types of searches and reports that might benefit you:

  • People search
  • Reverse phone lookup (if you get a call from a number you don’t have in your Contacts and you want to know who is behind that phone number)
  • Email search
  • Social network search
  • Property records
  • Criminal records
  • Full background checks

What is the price of an US Search report?

US Search offers three payment options. You can either opt for their OmniSearch memberships, which give you unlimited people and phone searches or you can buy a single report, if that’s all you need.

You can either opt for the “Unlimited monthly” membership or the “Unlimited quarterly” membership.

Unlimited monthly starts from only $19.95 per month and includes unlimited people and phone searches.

Unlimited quarterly starts from $49.85 and you are billed every 3 months. It also includes unlimited people and phone searches and it will save you $10.

One report only starts from $2.45 per individual report.

We used the word “starts”, because this is the lowest price you have to pay for each of these options. But there is also the option to buy additional information to make your report more complex. Depending on what information you need, you can purchase for an extra charge:

  • Marriage and divorce records (for an additional $2.95)
  • Property records (for an extra $4.95)
  • Email addresses ($2.95)
  • National criminal records ($19.95)
  • Enhanced relatives search ($4.95)
  • Enhanced associates search (2.95)

US Search uses billions of public records that are available to anyone if they want to access them. They are all records of people who live within the United States, which means you can’t use the service to search a person that doesn’t live in the country. There is however possible to find information about them if they used to live in the US, even if they don’t anymore.

The sources used by US Search are various, from social media information, Deep Web information to government, criminal records and so on.

What does a standard report include?

If you only need the basic information about the person you are looking for, then you can just run a standard search and pay the amounts we described above. In this case, your report will include information such as: the full name of the person, their aliases (if they have any), their relatives, their contact information, their social networks, their age, their associates.

If you need extra information such as marital status, criminal records and so on, you have to purchase the extra options we enumerated above.

When you run a search, try to input all the information you’ve got, in order to make the process easier and to get the best results. For instance, for people searches, you can input the first, middle, last name of the person, their city/state and their age. We have done very in depth reviews of all the different online background checks that are available and list them here for your convinience.
