COMPLETE REVIEW

Celoxis was founded in 2001, it currently has more than 2,500 customers worldwide and over 3,56 million projects managed. The company is based in India and offers support in 6 languages, including Chinese, French, German and Spanish. Their clients’ base includes names like LG, HBO, Bombardier, Whirlpool, Rolex, Deloitte and many more.

Celoxis is available both as SaaS and On-Premise. Its features address aspects such as projects, tasks, time and expense, collaboration, budgeting and others.

There is a pricing calculator for each of the 2 available offers and you also benefit of volume and duration discounts.

For the Saas version, signing up for 6 months will get you a discount of 5%, 12 months – 15% and 24 months – 20%.

There are also volume discounts: 100-249 - 15%, between 250 and 499 – 20% and more than 500 – 25%.

The SaaS version includes free client login and virtual users, one hour complimentary education course, 2 GB/user/month of shared disk space and guarantees a 99.99% uptime.

The On-Premise version has its own discounts. In addition to the volume discounts that apply here as well, there are also benefits in terms of annual support and upgrades: 1st year is free and then 33% of invoice value.

If you feel undecided, Celoxis offers a full featured 30-day trial. In order to benefit from it, you need to provide them a name, phone number, e-mail, company and the team size.

Celoxis is compatible with most browsers and mobile phone. You can use it with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry mobile phones.

The mobile application is easy to use and allows you to add tasks, leave comments, add the time worked and so on.

Celoxis includes some out-of the-box integrations: Google Drive, Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce. There is also a cool feature that needs to be mentioned here, which is the fact that you can build your own custom apps. Celoxis also has a full API guide that helps users to create customized integrations. The pre-built apps they offer help your team to track bugs, risks, approve projects, change requests and so on.

The software has the ability to manage multiple projects and comes with advanced scheduling features. There is multi-time zone support, based on different time zones and resource assignments in hours or percentage.

Other features: full interactive Gantt chart that can handle 10,000 tasks, advanced and fully customizable dashboards that help you monitor key performance indicators, real-time workload projections, task timers that help you keep track of time spent, an advanced, shareable calendar where you can set up events and schedule meetings (the calendar can be shared with your team, and theirs with yours), free client collaboration, with free client logins.

The built-in bug and issue tracking app is also very useful, just like the escalation matrix, which lets you set up escalation rules and timeout policies. This way you can clearly define all possible scenarios.

Celoxis includes multiple field types, too, such as dates, currencies, formula fields, pick lists and others.

The software offers the role-based security option, in order to protect data from unauthorized internal access.

You can configure all kinds of reports, export them as a CSV file and make them interactive, by including a hyperlink.

Pricing

As we already mentioned, this project management solution is available as SaaS or On-Premise.

The SaaS version costs $25/user/month.

The On-Premise version is $450/user, as a one-time fee.

Celoxis offers e-mail and phone support 24 hours/day, for 5 days/week. However, because the company is based in India, they will be unavailable during Indian holidays. In addition to the phone and e-mail support, Celoxis offers plenty of resources and documentation for self-service: API guide, FAQ section, getting started guide, configuration handbook, online documentation, helpful forums and so on. There is also a free 1 hour Q&A support and online training available.
