If you are looking for a reliable repair software for your PC, Mac or Android device, Reimage Repair (also simply called Reimage) should definitely be at the top of your list.

Reimage has been developed in 2017 by a company based in Tel Aviv. Reimage works by detecting software, hardware issues and malware that might be infiltrated in your system.

The software has apps for the macOS operating system, for Windows and a mobile app as well, compatible with Android devices.

What are the system requirements for Reimage?

Reimage for PC is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Pro (32-bit and 64-bit).

On Macs, Reimage works on OS X Mavericks and above (OS X Yosemite and above is required for full AV capability).

You have to have a 1 GHz single core or multi-core processor, a hard-drive of 40GB or more, with at least 15 GB free space and at least 512 RAM.

What can Reimage repair?

Reimage works by first scanning your device for problems related to security, software and hardware. It detects all the issues in your system and can fix them. Some common examples of problems that can be fixed by Reimage are:

Corrupted and Damaged DLLs (dynamic link library) – broken DLLs are usually the cause of constant uninstalling programs on your computer. Corrupted DLLs can cause a lot off annoying errors.

Blue Screens of Death (BSODs) – often seen in Windows devices, they can be caused by several things: registry issues and other software problems; BSODs are very frustrating because they require you to restart the computer.

Computer freezes – this is another common problem in systems that are buggy and cluttered; Freezes manifest through apps that stop working and “freeze”, forcing you to restart them.

Virus damage removal – Reimage scans your device for any signs of viruses and removes the damage left by viruses. However, you shouldn’t mistake the software for an antivirus nor rely on it for protecting your device from malware. You should use an Antivirus to get rid of any malware in your system and only use Reimage to fix the damage left by viruses. Reimage doesn’t protect you from getting infected with any virus.

Reimage also has an OS recovery feature; in case the operating system is severely corrupted, Reimage can return it to a normal state and it also creates a backup version, just in case anything goes wrong.

In addition to actually fixing stability issues and annoying bugs, Reimage can also analyze the configurations of your hardware and lets you know if you have to replace anything. It gives you an overall profile of your hardware, including your hard drive, RAM, CPU.

Another benefit of Reimage is the fact that it offers a mobile app for Android devices. Unfortunately, there is no iOS app yet.

You can download the Android app for free and there is a Pro version as well, if you are willing to pay for it.

The Reimage app is mostly useful for cleaning the junk in your mobile device, including browsing history, text history, unwanted cached memory and so on. There is also a schedule option for weekly cache cleanups.
