VoIP has become one of the most popular communication technologies of our days. It brings a lot of benefits with it, in terms of cost, user-friendliness, features, versatility and flexibility. Voice Over the Internet Protocol cuts down your costs considerably, thanks to the fact that it uses the internet to make calls, so it doesn’t rely on landlines anymore. That means smaller monthly bills and the freedom to make long-distance calls without the fear of breaking the bank.

VoIP can be used with just a computer/laptop/smartphone, from anywhere in the world, as long as you are signed up for a VoIP service and you have access to high-speed internet. You can also use a VoIP phone or your old analog phone, because there are adapters that make this possible.

While VoIP is more popular in the business setting, for obvious reasons, home users can also benefit from all its aforementioned advantages. There are many options when it comes to residential VoIP services and Vonage is definitely one of the best to consider.

What does Vonage have to offer?

Vonage has been offering cloud communication solutions since 2001. The company offers VoIP services for both businesses and residentials. Vonage is headquartered in New Jersey and currently has over 2.5 million users.

What are the Residential plans offered by Vonage?

You can also keep your current phone number when you switch to Vonage. You have to wait for approximately 7 to 10 business days for the transfer to be made, time during which you will receive a temporary number from Vonage.

The 3 plans offered by Vonage are: North America, World and US & Canada 400.
