More often than not, healthy food is not that delicious. Fast-food is usually associated with harmful food, good only for your taste buds but not for the rest of your body. But even so, it is very hard to keep away from it, with all its mesmerizing aroma and smells.

That’s why we are going to help you be able to still enjoy a delicious burger, without all the guilt that accompanies it. Here are three recipes for home-made burgers, a healthier yet still tasty alternative to the commercial ones.

Recipe 1: Classic burger

Ingredients (4 servings):

1 pack (500g) British Beef Steak Mince 15% fat

1 egg (beaten)

1 peeled and chopped onion

½ tbsp. olive oil

4 slices Cheddar

4 white rolls

1 tsp mixed dried herbs

Lettuce leaves

1 beef tomato (sliced)

Optional: ketchup

Cook the onion in olive oil until golden. In a different dish mix the beef mince, egg and dried herbs and add the onion. Shape into 4 patties. Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side. After you turn them on the other side, add a slice of cheese on each, and let it melt. Fill the buns with the burgers, lettuce and tomatoes. You can serve them with or without ketchup
